Floor Somm Cameo Time!
Dusting off the ol' corkscrew at L'Abattoir...
Stoked, honoured, and privileged to be joining my friend and colleague Peter Van de Reep to do a handful of cameo sommelier shifts at L’Abattoir in Gastown over the next few weeks. One of Vancouver’s brightest dining spots with a trophy shelf full of Platinum Wine Program Excellence Awards from the Vancouver International Wine Festival, current Wine Director (and current Best Sommelier in BC) Andrew Forsyth is in Italy for a couple weeks, and the gents asked if I’d be able to step into the ring for a little support! Here goes nothin’!
I’ll be trying to find my way around the place September 12, 19, and October 3 and 4. If you’re in neighbourhood, come in for a glass and say hi!
