I've partnered with Amy York of Vancouver's nouvelle nouvelle to produce a series of evening boutique shopping events which includes satellite wine country touring featuring a different regional winery pouring at each shop! Next edition: April 20, 2022. |
Top Drop Canada
I'm a co-founder of this dynamic wine event in Vancouver, embarking on our seventh year. Top Drop is an opportunity for terroir-focused, hands-on international wineries to share their wines and their stories with savvy, engaged trade and consumers. In 2018, we added a Calgary edition, and in 2019 Victoria was added to the roster! |
The Flipside
While I certainly enjoy wine (and beer, and cocktails) - there are times and places when drinking isn't in the cards; everything from regular 'break days,' to wellness ambitions, and so on. I'm always on the hunt for delicious alcohol-free takes on wine, beer, and spirits made with integrity. The Flipside is a project where I'll share recommended refreshments, events, and other opportunities this realm presents. |

Maenam: The Restaurant & Maenam: The Book
I've enjoyed consulting on the wine program at Maenam in Vancouver sporadically over the years (something I'm currently doing yet again), along with leaping into random adventures with chef/proprietor Angus An through various pursuits, from James Beard House dinners to pop-up Sherry bars. He's put pen to page, sharing his Thai-influenced culinary wisdom in a new cookbook, and I'm honoured to have written the wine component. |
